This first video capture from Shaft you can see the famous police detective (Samuel L. Jackson) during the investigation of a murder of an African-American that has just taken place.

  Here one of the bad guys nick-named "Peoples" has just been arrested by Shaft.

  Shaft also temporarily arrests the murderer (Christian Bale), but he ends up being released anyway.

  You can't really see the whole picture in this scene, but Shaft has just thrown his badge at the Judge that releases the murderer. The badge just misses the Judge, and ends up embedding itself in the Judges chair where his head was.

Here, Shaft is with one of his helpers as he is on a stakeout in the car.

  In this scene Shaft is pointing his gun at the other bad guy called "Peoples". He ends up shooting him to death as Peoples is advancing towards him while poking himself with an ice pick to show how tough he is or something.

  In this last video capture Samuel.L Jackson is talking to Richard Roundtree who played the original John Shaft character in the TV show. A retro-active bit part for the one time television star.
